FREEHAND
The "freehand" technique in tattooing is when I draw directly on your skin without using stencils or pre-existing guides. Essentially, I create the tattoo design right on your skin, typically using only a pen or marker, before starting the actual tattooing process.
In the context of tribal tattoos, like Maori and Polynesian designs, I often use the freehand technique to ensure that the tattoo design fits perfectly with your anatomy and flows naturally with the contours of your body. These types of tattoos often feature intricate and detailed patterns, and by using the freehand technique, I can more flexibly adapt the design to your individual body.
